On the last day of studies in 2016, we where closing with exhibition personal view and working for
That’s a panoramic wiew of the studio and my work. It was interesting day because I got to see also other people works, in other studios do the voting in each studio and have a chat with few talanted people I didn’t knew before.
At the end of the day we had prize giving for the visitors favourite. And I got a beautiful gift, tool set and materials to make a worth of linocut. That was one of those wish list things that only Santa could know about.
So I went home and made sketches and started to do experiments, that’s my first work of art I created Friday evening:
And then on Saturday I went to buy surface for engraving and created another work, this time was a bit difficult because I tryed with different colours like acril, watercolour, tempera and gouache and couldn’t get the print, but today finally when I used ink pad that came in my present box , there where visible improvements.
I will defenetly do some more experimentation and Christmas cards.
Wanted to say thank you to people that liked my work at the exhibition that let me get this awesome present 🙂 and of course Yelow Owl Workshop for cheating the set of artistic tools and materials in a beautifully designed box.
